Were Back...
What a wonderful and busy week of serving the Lord among the people in a barrio of Juana Diaz. Much was accomplished and relationships were developed. The warmth, appreciation and acceptance towards us Americano's was felt among all team members and the team responded by working hard and spending time getting to know the people they came to serve.
Posting a few pictures from the week....will add more over these next few weeks.
Thank you for your prayers as we prepared, while we were on the field, for our safe traveling, and please continue to pray as we readjust to our regular routines and as we debrief over these next days with many moments of reflection of our time in Puerto Rico.
Thank you for the many ways you have contributed to this mission and know you all were a part of the team that made this trip possible....it was not just the 9 who physically went.
May the Lord bless you as you continue to support missions.

Return Mission Trip, November 1st - 8th, 2008...
There is a team of nine returning to Juana Diaz this November. Let me introduce the team to you... Barry Darnell, Bea Flower, Adam Yacuzzo, Jaime Allison, Lindsey Frick, Alice Gean, Kendall Gray, and Kevin & Brenda Musselman.
We are excited and looking forward to the day of our departure. Once again we will be working with the local Missionaries, John & Kerry Cox, performing construction and repairs on the homes within the barrio. The people look forward to us "Americano's" coming and it is wonderful to interact with them and spend time with the youth. Even with language barriers there is communication and the full expression of Christ's Love for them that comes through.
Please be in prayer for this team and the purpose of this trip. For group unification, wisdom, strength, spiritual discernment and direction. It is for His glory we go and to show Christ through us...we seek only to humbly follow and serve.
As we request your prayers we also would like to ask your prayerful consideration in giving financially to help us meet our goal for this trip of $12,150.00 ($1350.00/team member).
We will be holding an Auction on October 11th at the church and I will post more information about this separately on this blog. Look for Flyers & other advertisement about this
day of opportunity for fun, fellowship, food, great deals, and supporting missions.
